The American Stroke Foundation (ASF) hosted the Rose Award Luncheon on May 8, 2018 at the Sylvester Powell Jr. Community Center in Mission, Kansas.
This seventh annual luncheon to benefit the American Stroke Foundation (ASF) was a joyful community celebration. Anita Gorman received the Rose Award for Philanthropy and Community Leadership, and Maggie Rodgers and Don Sears received the Community Award for Service within the American Stroke Foundation.
Thank you to our sponsors, attendees and our Master of Ceremonies, Matt Flener, KMBC 9 News Weekend Anchor. A special thanks to our presenters who shared their journeys with us: caregiver, Janice Owens and stroke survivor, Emily Fogleman. Pictures from the event as well as a list of our sponsors may be found on the links below.
The ASF is able to further its mission by donations from businesses and individuals in our community. If you did not have an opportunity to contribute to the luncheon and would still like to donate, please click on the Donate! button.
